2017 Winter Recital Series


This group is dedicated to securing adequate funds to reconnect the historic pipe organ for use in the worship service and other events at Great Island Presbyterian Church.

Marisa McCollough Lentz - coloratura soprano

Marisa earned her Masters of Performance degree at Shenandoah Conservatory and sings professionally in the Washington DC region. She is the daughter of Wayne and Pamela McCollough of Lock Haven.

Sunday, February 12, at 3 PM

Theodore Lentz euphonium, baritone, organ

Theodore earned both his B.S. and M.A. degrees from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Theodore’s multi-proficiency performance will not be one to miss.

Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 pm

Phil Maue - organ

Phil received his degrees from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey.  His program will include works by Barber, Bach, Rimsky-Korsakov, among others.

Jaime Castillo - harp

Jaime has delighted New York City audiences for over thirty years as a soloist, musical ensemble musician, master teacher, and arranger. Great Island members have enjoyed his beautiful playing during various services.

Tickets: $15.00 for each individual concert (Students: $5.00)
All seats will be on a “first come” basis with the doors opening one hour prior to each concert.
